Suitcases packed. Plane tickets checked. Everything seemed perfectly aligned for our overnight Bestea trip to Las Vegas for the World Tea Expo. When Lethrice and I arrived, we dropped off our baggage at the hotel and grabbed a quick lunch of some irresistable lobster mac n cheese and short rib kettle chip nachos at Gordon Ramsay's Pub and Grille !

Off to a taxi we went to head straight to the convention center to maximize our only day to attend the trade show. Filled with excitement, we searched for the registration area - but then noticed something was awry . . . why was the entrance blocked . . . why did some booths look disarrayed . . . did we miss the tea trade show? Turned out we somehow got the date mixed up and arrived a day too early! Fortunately, Lethrice was able to find another flight for us to stay for one more day. The next morning, we fueled up at Pronto by Giada's with the most delicious Nutella-polenta waffles and caprese fritata before departing to explore the tea market.

The bustling trade show had tea vendors displaying amazing blends and offering aromatic brewed tea samples to smell and taste. Lethrice and I discovered several tea brands that we decided to collaborate with.

Of course we had a favorite from the vibrant display of tea samples — the tea leaves cultivated in the volcanic soil of Jeju Island had an absolutely divine flavor and aroma. We cannot wait to delight everyone with the tea selections chosen for our tea tasting and afternoon tea pop-ups!

After a few hours of sipping and researching teas at the convention, we hopped on a plane for our flight back home. It actually was a blessing in disguise to arrive earlier than we had planned, as it gave us the chance to unwind the night before with a wonderful dinner and shopping, rather than feeling rushed. Everything always works out at the end!
